A new restaurant is destined
for 189 W. Santa Clara St.
The Lyndon Building, built in 1884, is historically significant for its architecture and its role in local journalism. In 1902, it was the headquarters for the Times-Mercury. Later, it evolved into the Mercury News, a major newspaper that documented the city’s growth from an agricultural town to an urban center. The Pressroom will celebrate this legacy, honoring the building’s journalistic past and adding to the area’s rich history.
